The Smart WiFi Temperature & Humidity Sensor is designed to provide precise monitoring of indoor environmental conditions, helping you maintain a healthy and comfortable living or working space. It continuously tracks temperature and humidity levels and displays real-time data directly on your mobile phone using the Tuya Smart / Smart Life app.

This smart sensor allows you to set custom automation rules, such as turning on air conditioners, heaters, humidifiers, or dehumidifiers when temperature or humidity reaches specific levels. You can also receive instant alerts if conditions go beyond your defined thresholds.

Powered by batteries, the device ensures wire-free installation and reliable performance with minimal maintenance. Its sleek, compact design makes it suitable for bedrooms, living rooms, offices, warehouses, greenhouses, and smart buildings.

An ideal solution for smart climate control, energy efficiency, and indoor comfort.

What this sensor actually gives you. A WiFi temperature and humidity sensor measures the air where you put it and sends those readings to your phone through the Smart Life or Tuya app. You see the current reading from anywhere, a history of how conditions changed through the day and week, and — the part that makes it genuinely useful rather than a gadget — an alert when a reading crosses a limit you set.

Why people in Pakistan buy them. Almost always to protect something that fails in heat. Server rooms and network cabinets are the most common: equipment throttles, shuts down, or shortens its life when a room overheats, and that risk is highest during load shedding when the air conditioning stops but the UPS keeps the equipment running. Pharmacies and clinics monitor medicine storage where temperature limits genuinely matter. Shops with chillers or cold storage use them as an overnight early warning that a unit has failed, which is far cheaper than finding spoiled stock in the morning. Homes use them for nurseries and for managing humidity through monsoon.

The alert threshold is the whole point. A sensor that only displays a number is a thermometer. The value here is being told before damage happens. Set a threshold with enough margin that you have time to react — for a server room, an alert several degrees below the point where equipment struggles gives you a chance to intervene. An alert that fires only once the damage is underway is worth very little.

Tuya compatibility and what it unlocks. Because it speaks Tuya, a reading can trigger an action rather than only notifying you. Common setups: a smart switch turning on an exhaust fan when humidity passes a set point, a secondary cooling unit or fan switching on when a server cabinet crosses a temperature limit, or a Tuya siren sounding for a cold storage failure. If you already own Tuya smart switches or plugs, this sensor turns them into a basic environmental control system with no wiring.

Placement changes your readings more than the model does. Mount away from direct sunlight, away from air conditioner vents, and not directly above heat producing equipment, otherwise you are measuring that specific spot rather than the room. In a server cabinet, place it near the equipment intake rather than at the top of the rack where hot exhaust naturally collects, because intake temperature is what actually affects the hardware. For a room, wall mounting at roughly chest height gives the most representative reading.

Battery life and reporting interval. Reporting frequency is the main drain. A sensor set to report every minute empties its battery far faster than one reporting every ten minutes, and for a room that changes slowly the longer interval loses you nothing useful. Set the interval to match how quickly conditions actually move. Keep spare cells for anything monitoring stock you cannot afford to lose.

Alerts need internet even though the sensor does not. Worth being completely clear about this. The device keeps measuring and logging locally regardless, but push notifications travel through your router and out to the internet. If your router is off during load shedding, you will not receive alerts during that window — which is precisely when a server room is most likely to overheat. If the monitoring genuinely matters, put the router on a small UPS. That single addition costs little and closes the biggest gap in the system.

Treat the readings as comparative, not billing grade. These sensors are accurate enough to show you that one room runs consistently hotter than another, that humidity spikes every afternoon, or that conditions changed after you altered something. That is more than sufficient for making decisions. Do not treat them as calibrated laboratory instruments for compliance record keeping.

WiFi coverage where the sensor sits. Server rooms, store rooms, and metal cabinets all weaken signal, and those are exactly the places you want to monitor. Check you have usable 2.4GHz coverage at the mounting position before installing. Most smart devices will not connect on 5GHz, so a combined-band router may need the bands separated briefly during pairing. A device that keeps dropping offline in the app is almost always a signal problem, not a faulty sensor.

How many do you need? One per distinct area you care about. A server room, a stock room, and a shop floor behave differently and one sensor cannot represent all three. For a single large space with hot and cool ends, two sensors tell you far more than one.

Does it work without internet? It keeps measuring and recording locally, but phone notifications require your connection to be working.

Can it switch on a fan or air conditioner automatically? Yes, when paired with a Tuya smart switch, plug, or relay module through an automation in the Smart Life app.

Is it suitable for a fridge or cold storage? For general monitoring and failure alerts, yes. For regulated pharmaceutical record keeping, use a calibrated instrument intended for that purpose.

Can I view history, or only the current reading? The app stores historical readings so you can review trends rather than only the present value.

Buying from ZZ Marts. In stock at our Karachi (Saddar) and Lahore stores with nationwide delivery, supplied by Zam Zam Traders, trading in electronics and security equipment since 2005. We also stock Tuya smart switches, plugs, relay modules, and sirens so readings can trigger real actions, plus PIR sensors and door contacts if you are building out a wider smart or security setup. Tell us what you are monitoring — a server cabinet, a pharmacy fridge, a nursery — and we will suggest a sensible alert threshold along with the sensor.
