Buying components
This section is built for people who already know what they need. If you have a part number, use the search box — every product carries its SKU, and search will find it faster than browsing.
Tact switches: measure three dimensions
Width, length and height in millimetres, in that order, as in 6×6×7mm. Height is the one people get wrong, because it determines how far the button protrudes through the panel. Check the pin count too — 2-pin and 4-pin are not interchangeable on a board.
Push buttons: mounting hole first, then function
Panel-mount metal buttons are specified by the hole diameter they fit, typically 16mm, 19mm or 22mm. Then decide momentary or latching: momentary makes contact only while pressed, latching stays until pressed again.
NO and NC causes the most returns
Normally Open completes the circuit when pressed. Normally Closed breaks it when pressed. Safety circuits and emergency stops generally use NC, so a broken wire fails safe rather than fails silent.
Fuses protect the circuit, not the device
Match the rated current to the circuit's design. Fitting a higher-rated fuse to stop nuisance blowing removes the protection entirely — the fuse was telling you something.
Terminal blocks and connectors save time on every job
Screw terminals suit permanent installations. Push-fit connectors are quicker for junction work and do not loosen with vibration. Buy a size up from the cable you need.
Frequently asked questions
What size tact switch do I need?
Tact switches are specified as width × length × height in millimetres — for example 6×6×7mm. Measure the footprint on your board and the height needed to reach through the panel.
What is the difference between NO and NC contacts?
Normally Open completes the circuit only while pressed. Normally Closed breaks it when pressed. Emergency stops usually use NC, so a cut wire triggers the same result as pressing the button.
What is the difference between a momentary and a latching switch?
Momentary makes contact only while held — start buttons, doorbells, exit buttons. Latching stays in position until operated again — power switches and emergency stops.
Do you sell components in bulk or trade quantities?
Yes. Contact us on WhatsApp with the part number and quantity for pricing, or visit the Karachi or Lahore counter.
Can I buy a single component or is there a minimum order?
You can buy single pieces — many components start at Rs 10 each with no minimum. Free delivery applies over Rs 5,000.
