Terminal blocks and wiring connectors in Pakistan start at Rs 10 for an automotive blade fuse or USB socket connector, and Rs 80–100 for 2-way to 10-way screw barrier strips. ZZ Marts stocks these over the counter in Karachi (Saddar) and Lahore, with trade quantities on request and no minimum order.
Buying guide
Choosing connectors and fuses
Size the block by the cable, then go one up
A terminal sized exactly to your conductor leaves no room for strand spread, and overtightening to compensate is what crushes strands and creates intermittent faults months later. A block one size larger costs a few rupees more and terminates properly.
Count the ways you need, then add two
Barrier strips come in 2, 3, 4, 9 and 10-way here. Spare ways cost almost nothing on the day and save cutting a strip down or splicing a second one in when the job changes.
Screw terminals for permanent, push-fit for speed
Screw barrier strips are the right choice for a fixed panel or junction box you will rarely open. Lever and push-fit connectors are far quicker for temporary work and hold better under vibration, which matters in vehicles and on gates.
Never fit a larger fuse to stop it blowing
The fuse is rated to the cable and the circuit, not to the device. A 10A circuit fitted with a 30A fuse will not blow — the wiring will overheat instead. If a correctly rated fuse keeps failing, the fault is upstream and the fuse is telling you so.
Blade fuse colours are standardised, but check the number
Standard automotive colours run red 10A, blue 15A, yellow 20A, green 30A, clear 25A. Colour is a useful shortcut but faded or non-standard fuses turn up often enough that reading the printed rating is worth the two seconds.
Frequently asked questions
How much do terminal blocks cost in Pakistan?
A 2-way to 4-way screw barrier strip is Rs 80, and 9-way and 10-way strips are Rs 100. Automotive blade fuses and USB socket connectors are Rs 10 each.
What size terminal block do I need?
Match the block's current rating to your circuit and its terminal size to your cable, then choose one size up. A terminal that just fits will not clamp all the strands reliably.
Which blade fuse rating should I use?
Use the rating specified for the circuit, not for the device. If nothing is specified, the fuse must protect the smallest cable in the run — fusing above that removes the protection entirely.
What is the difference between screw and push-fit connectors?
Screw terminals clamp the conductor with a screw and suit permanent installations. Push-fit and lever connectors grip with a spring, go in faster and resist vibration better, but are bulkier.
Do you sell connectors in bulk or trade quantities?
Yes. Message us on WhatsApp with the part and quantity for trade pricing, or visit the Karachi or Lahore counter.
Is there a minimum order for components?
No. You can buy a single fuse at Rs 10. Free delivery applies on orders over Rs 5,000.
