Product details

The No Touch Exit Button with Remote is a hygienic and modern door release solution designed for access control systems.

Using infrared sensor technology, the button allows users to open doors without physical contact — simply wave your hand in front of the sensor. It also includes a remote control, enabling wireless door release operation when needed.

Operating on 12V DC, this device supports NO (Normally Open), NC (Normally Closed), and COM relay outputs, making it compatible with magnetic locks, electric strike locks, and drop bolt locks.

Its elegant stainless steel or acrylic panel design makes it suitable for offices, hospitals, banks, commercial buildings, and high-traffic areas.

Wiring Diagram

Touchless at the door, plus release from a desk. This unit does two jobs. A hand passed in front of the sensor releases the door with no contact, and the supplied remote lets someone release it from elsewhere in the room without walking over. That combination is why it costs more than a plain touchless button, and for the right situation it is money well spent.

The remote is the real reason to buy this. Think about who actually opens the door. A receptionist admitting visitors to a lobby after seeing them. A clinic releasing patients from a waiting area. A shopkeeper whose counter sits across the room from the entrance. An office where staff are buzzed through once recognised. In all of those, someone would otherwise walk to the door and back many times a day. On a busy reception that is dozens of avoided trips.

Why touchless is specified. Hygiene is the obvious driver and became a formal requirement in clinical, laboratory, and food environments after COVID. The second benefit is mechanical: an infrared sensor has no moving parts, so on a door operated hundreds of times a week it outlasts a push button whose mechanism wears with every press.

Choosing between our two remote versions. We stock this and a higher specification version at a higher price. Both perform the same core function. This one is the sensible choice for normal indoor commercial use, moderate traffic, and back of house doors. The premium version is worth the difference where the door is in constant use or where finish quality matters to the client. We will tell you honestly which your situation calls for rather than defaulting to the dearer one.

Remote practicalities. Remote batteries fail without warning, so keep a spare and note that range is reduced by thick walls and metal doors. Where the release point is far from the door or separated by masonry, mention it and we will advise. Decide who holds a remote and keep track, because a lost remote continues to open your door until it is cleared from the receiver.

Indoor and sheltered positions. Infrared sensing can behave unpredictably in strong direct sunlight, because sunlight itself contains infrared. Corridors, lobbies, receptions, and internal doorways suit it well. If your door is fully exposed to sun or driving rain, tell us and we will suggest an outdoor rated alternative rather than let you fit the wrong device.

Setting the sensing distance. Too far, and the door releases as people simply walk past along the corridor. Too close, and users wave repeatedly then press the panel anyway out of frustration. A short range requiring a deliberate hand movement is nearly always correct, and it is the single adjustment that decides whether people like the device.

NO, NC and COM output. All three are provided. Magnetic locks need the circuit broken to release, so NC. Bolt and strike locks generally use NO. Wiring this backwards gives a door that never releases or never locks, which remains the most common installation error on access controlled doors. Tell us your lock and we will confirm.

Power and load shedding. The sensor needs 12V DC from your access control supply, sized to include the lock as well. During an outage the sensor stops working; a magnetic lock releases and the door opens, while a fail secure bolt stays locked. Plan a backup supply and, on escape routes, an emergency break glass release so exit never depends on electronics being powered.

How far does the remote work? Line of sight is best; thick walls and metal doors reduce range. Tell us your layout and we will advise.

Can I add more remotes? Usually yes. Confirm with us for your specific unit.

Should I buy this or the premium version? This one for normal commercial use. The premium version for constant traffic or where finish matters.

Does it work in the dark? Yes, infrared operation does not depend on ambient light.

Buying from ZZ Marts. In stock at our Karachi (Saddar) and Lahore stores with nationwide delivery, supplied by Zam Zam Traders, trading in access control since 2005. We also stock the premium remote version, plain touchless buttons, metal and curved stainless buttons, key operated switches, break glass releases, locks, power supplies, and keypads. Tell us where the release point sits relative to the door and we will confirm the right unit.
