The No Touch Exit Button with Remote is a hygienic and modern door release solution designed for access control systems.
Using infrared sensor technology, the button allows users to open doors without physical contact — simply wave your hand in front of the sensor. It also includes a remote control, enabling wireless door release operation when needed.
Operating on 12V DC, this device supports NO (Normally Open), NC (Normally Closed), and COM relay outputs, making it compatible with magnetic locks, electric strike locks, and drop bolt locks.
Its elegant stainless steel or acrylic panel design makes it suitable for offices, hospitals, banks, commercial buildings, and high-traffic areas.

The premium build, and an honest account of who needs it. This is the higher specification version of our touchless exit button with remote release. It performs the same two core functions as our standard version: hand wave release at the door, and remote release from elsewhere in the room. What the additional cost buys is build quality, and that is worth stating plainly rather than dressing up as something else.
When the difference genuinely justifies the cost. Doors in constant daily use, where a component failure means calling an installer back and losing access in the meantime. Premium interiors where the client is paying attention to every visible finish. Installations you would rather specify once and never revisit. Hospitals, hotel front of house, corporate receptions, and showrooms are the typical cases.
When our standard version is the better buy. For a low traffic internal door, a back of house route, or a store room, the standard remote version does exactly the same job for meaningfully less money. We would rather you spent the difference on a backup power supply or an emergency release than on build quality the door will never test. Tell us how the door is used and we will say which applies.
Why touchless gets specified. Hygiene is a formal requirement in clinical, laboratory, and food environments, and remains a preference in many public buildings. The second benefit is mechanical: an infrared sensor has no moving parts, so on a door operated hundreds of times a week it outlasts a push button whose mechanism wears with every single press. On the very high traffic doors this unit is aimed at, that difference compounds.
The remote, and what it changes day to day. Release from a desk rather than walking to the door. Receptionists admitting visitors to a lobby, clinics releasing patients from a waiting area, shops with the counter away from the entrance, and offices buzzing through recognised staff. On a busy reception that is dozens of avoided trips every day.
Remote practicalities. Batteries fail without warning, so keep a spare. Range is reduced by thick walls and metal doors. Track who holds a remote, because a lost remote continues to open your door until it is cleared from the receiver.
Indoor and sheltered positions. Infrared can behave unpredictably in strong direct sunlight, so corridors, lobbies, and internal doorways suit it best. Exposed external doors need an outdoor rated alternative, which we can recommend if you tell us the location.
Setting sensing distance. Set too far and the door releases as people walk past; too close and users wave repeatedly then press the panel anyway. A deliberate, short range is almost always correct. On a premium installation this adjustment is worth taking time over, since it determines how the door actually feels to use.
NO, NC and COM output. All three supplied. Magnetic locks need the circuit broken to release, so NC. Bolt and strike locks generally use NO. Reversing this gives a door that never releases or never locks, and it remains the most frequent error on access control installations.
Power and load shedding. Requires 12V DC from a supply sized to include the lock. During an outage the sensor stops; magnetic locks release and the door opens, fail secure bolts stay locked. On any escape route, fit a backup supply and an emergency break glass release so exit never depends on electronics being powered.
Is it worth the extra over the standard version? On a constantly used or premium door, yes. On a quiet internal door, no, and we will say so.
How far does the remote reach? Best in line of sight; walls and metal reduce range.
