Product details

The 8-Zone Telephone Line Alarm Control Panel is a reliable security system that operates through a PSTN landline connection. When an alarm is triggered, the system automatically dials pre-programmed phone numbers and plays a recorded alert message.

This panel supports 8 wired zones, making it ideal for homes, offices, shops, and commercial buildings that prefer landline-based security systems instead of GSM.

With a built-in keypad, metal cabinet, and battery backup, this system ensures continuous protection even during power outages.

It is especially suitable for areas where mobile network signals are weak but landline service is available.

    🌟 Why Choose This Model?

    āœ” Stable landline-based communication
    āœ” No SIM required
    āœ” Low running cost
    āœ” Simple maintenance
    āœ” Ideal for fixed-location security

A landline based alarm panel with eight wired zones. This control panel connects to a PSTN telephone line and automatically dials preset numbers with a voice message when an alarm is triggered. It accepts up to eight wired sensor zones, has a built in keypad for arming and disarming, a metal enclosure, backup battery support, and an output for an external siren.

When a landline panel is the right choice. PSTN suits premises that already have a working, reliable telephone line and where you would rather not manage a SIM card. There is no monthly SIM package to keep active, no credit to top up, and no risk of a prepaid connection expiring quietly through inactivity, which is the most common cause of a GSM panel failing to raise the alarm. For an established office or shop with a stable landline, the running cost and maintenance burden are both lower.

The honest limitation you should know before buying. A telephone line can be cut. If someone locates and cuts your line before entering, a PSTN panel loses its ability to dial out, and it does so silently. A GSM panel using the mobile network is not vulnerable in the same way. For high risk premises, or anywhere the incoming line is accessible from outside, we would generally recommend GSM instead, or both together. We would rather tell you this before you buy than have you discover it afterwards.

Eight zones and how to use them. A zone is an area the panel monitors separately, so an alarm tells you where the breach happened rather than only that one happened. With eight zones you can be genuinely useful about it: front entry, rear entry, ground floor windows, upper floor, store room, office, garage, and perimeter. Splitting sensibly turns the alarm from a noise into information a guard or keyholder can act on. Zone by how someone would actually move through the building.

What the system needs beyond the panel. Wired door and window contacts on entry points, motion detectors covering internal routes, an external siren audible from the street, a backup battery, and cabling in conduit. Beam sensors can be wired into a zone for boundary walls. ZZ Marts stocks every part, and we can supply a matched set so an installer is not left waiting on a missing component.

Wired sensors, and why that is a strength here. This panel takes wired zones rather than wireless sensors. Wired contacts never need batteries, cannot be jammed, and draw power from the panel, so they keep working as long as it does. The trade off is installation effort, which is why this panel suits a building under construction or renovation, or premises where cable can be run without difficulty.

Voice dialling and recipient numbers. Programme at least two or three numbers, ideally including someone who is usually close to the premises. A panel that only calls a travelling owner achieves nothing. Record a clear message identifying which premises is calling, particularly if the same person receives alerts from more than one site. Test the dialling function after installation and periodically afterwards, because alerting that has never been tested is only assumed to work.

Backup battery and load shedding. The panel supports a backup battery so it keeps protecting the premises during outages. In Pakistan this is essential rather than optional, since an alarm without backup power is effectively disarmed on a predictable schedule that is widely known. Size the battery for a realistic outage, not the bare minimum.

Metal enclosure and where to mount it. The panel is the first thing an intruder will attack once found. Mount it out of easy reach, away from the main entry point, and not in plain view. A metal enclosure in a sensible position is considerably harder to disable than a plastic box in the hallway.

PSTN or GSM, chosen honestly. Choose PSTN where you have a reliable landline, want no SIM to manage, and the incoming line is not easily accessible from outside. Choose our GSM panel where there is no landline, where the line could be cut, or where the premises is remote. Many higher risk sites use GSM precisely because it cannot be silenced by cutting a cable. Tell us about your site and we will recommend the one that suits rather than the one that costs more.

Does it need internet? No. It uses an ordinary telephone line and works entirely independently of broadband.

What happens if the phone line is cut? The panel can still sound the siren locally, but it cannot dial out. If that risk concerns you, GSM is the better choice.

Can I connect wireless sensors? This panel is designed for wired zones. For wireless sensors, see our WiFi and GSM starter kit or the GSM panel.

Will it work during load shedding? Yes, with a backup battery fitted.

Buying from ZZ Marts. In stock at our Karachi (Saddar) and Lahore stores with delivery across Pakistan, supplied by Zam Zam Traders, trading in security systems since 2005. We stock wired door contacts, motion detectors, beam sensors, sirens, batteries, and cabling to complete the installation, along with GSM panels if that suits your site better. Send us a rough plan of your premises and we will suggest a zone layout and sensor placement before you order.
