The High-Decibel Wired Siren Alarm is a powerful sounder designed to provide instant warning in case of intrusion, fire, or emergency situations. It produces a loud and clear alarm sound that helps alert people nearby and scare away intruders.
This siren is widely used with home security systems, fire alarm panels, access control systems, and gate controllers. Its wired connection ensures stable performance without signal loss or interference.
Made with high-quality ABS material, the siren is resistant to wear and suitable for long-term use. The compact round design allows easy mounting on walls, ceilings, or inside control cabinets.
A reliable safety accessory for homes, offices, shops, warehouses, and commercial buildings.
The part of the alarm that actually deters. Sensors detect an intruder; the siren is what makes them leave. A loud, unmistakable alarm sounding within seconds of entry is the single most effective deterrent in any security system, because most intruders are relying on going unnoticed. Without an audible siren, an alarm system quietly logs a burglary rather than preventing one.
Where to mount it. High on an external wall, ideally on the front of the building where it can be heard from the street and where neighbours will notice. Out of easy reach matters, because a siren that can be reached from the ground can be smashed or muffled. Many installations use two: one outside to alert the neighbourhood and one inside to make remaining in the building genuinely unpleasant.
Check your panel’s siren output. This connects to the siren output on an alarm panel and takes its power from there. Before ordering, confirm your panel has a siren output and what current it can supply, since a panel driving more devices than it is rated for will behave unpredictably. If you are running several sirens or long cable runs, tell us and we will confirm you need an additional power supply.
Cabling matters more than people expect. Run the cable in conduit, and never leave it exposed on an external wall where it can simply be cut. An accessible siren cable is the most common way a domestic alarm gets silenced. Use adequate conductor size for the run, because voltage drop over a long thin cable produces a weak, unconvincing siren.
Load shedding. The siren draws from the alarm panel, so with a backup battery fitted at the panel it continues working through outages. An alarm system that goes silent during load shedding is silent at exactly the times premises are most exposed.
Indoor and outdoor use. The ABS housing suits both, though for fully exposed positions mount under an overhang where possible to extend service life through monsoon and summer sun.
Test it, and warn the neighbours. Test the siren after installation and periodically afterwards, because an untested siren is only assumed to work. Let neighbours know when you are testing, and make sure whoever holds the keys knows how to silence it.
Will it work with my alarm panel? It works with most panels providing a standard siren output. Tell us your panel model and we will confirm.
Does it need its own power supply? Normally no, it draws from the panel. For multiple sirens or long runs, an additional supply may be needed.
Can I fit two sirens? Yes, and it is common practice: one external for deterrence and one internal. Check your panel’s output rating first.
