The 8 Gang Smart Touch Switch Glass Board is designed for modern homes and smart commercial spaces that require advanced control with elegant aesthetics. This switch allows you to control eight separate lights or appliances from one centralized glass panel, reducing wall clutter while enhancing interior style.
Made with high-quality tempered glass, the touch panel is durable, scratch-resistant, and easy to clean. The capacitive touch buttons respond instantly and feature soft LED backlighting, making them easy to locate in low-light environments.
Using the Smart Life / Tuya mobile app, you can turn lights ON or OFF from anywhere, set schedules, create automation scenes, and share control with family members. The switch also supports voice commands through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, enabling hands-free operation.
Available in Black and White color options, this 8 gang smart switch is ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, offices, hotels, apartments, and luxury interiors.

Who needs an 8 gang panel. An 8 gang smart touch switch is for locations where many circuits meet at a single point on the wall. In Pakistani homes that usually means the main drawing room board, a large hall, or the central switchboard controlling several lights and fans together. In commercial settings it suits open plan offices, showrooms, restaurants, and banquet halls where one wall plate governs an entire area’s lighting.
Count your circuits before ordering. This is the first thing to check and the most common mistake. Choose an 8 gang only if you genuinely have eight separate switched circuits at that one point. If you have four, a 4 gang panel costs less, looks cleaner, and leaves no dead buttons on the wall. Walk to your existing board and count the individual switches on it. If you are unsure, photograph the open board and send it to us on WhatsApp and we will tell you what you need.
The neutral wire requirement, read this before you buy. Almost every WiFi touch switch needs a neutral wire present in the switch box, because the electronics must draw a small amount of power continuously even when the lights are off. A great many older Pakistani installations only run live and switch live to the wall board, with the neutral joined at the light fitting instead. If there is no neutral at the board, this switch will not work correctly and no setting will fix it. Ask your electrician to open the board and confirm a neutral is present before you order. Doing this one check prevents the single most common disappointment we see with smart switches. Where no neutral exists, the options are running one in, or using a smart relay module at the light fitting instead, which we also stock.
Load capacity and what you can connect. Each gang has a maximum load rating, and standard gangs are designed around lighting. LED bulbs draw very little, so a full house of LEDs is comfortably within range. Be careful with very low wattage LEDs on some smart switches, as a tiny load can occasionally cause faint flickering; if that happens the fix is usually a bypass capacitor at the fitting. Ceiling fans are a different matter. A fan needs speed regulation rather than simple on and off, so do not assume a lighting gang will regulate a fan properly. Ask us about dedicated fan regulator modules if fans are part of your plan.
Setting it up with Smart Life or Tuya. The switch pairs with the Smart Life or Tuya app over 2.4GHz WiFi. This matters: most smart devices do not connect to 5GHz networks, so if your router broadcasts a combined band you may need to separate them temporarily during pairing. Once connected, name each gang meaningfully in the app, because “Switch 1” through “Switch 8” becomes useless within a week. Naming them Drawing Room Main, Corner Lamp, Corridor and so on makes voice control and scheduling genuinely usable.
What you actually gain day to day. The practical benefits are scheduling and grouping. An all off scene as you leave the house saves walking the whole board. Outside lights can come on at sunset automatically and switch off at a set hour. Shop signage can be scheduled to opening and closing times so nobody forgets. Remote checking is quietly useful too, letting you confirm from elsewhere that lights were switched off. The backlight also makes the panel easy to find at night, which people appreciate more than they expect.
Manual operation always works. This is important for households with elderly family members, guests, or children. The switch functions as an ordinary touch switch regardless of the app, the internet, or your phone. Nobody is ever dependent on technology to turn a light on. If your internet fails, local touch control and any schedules already stored continue working; only remote control from outside the house pauses until the connection returns.
WiFi coverage at the switch position. The panel sits inside a wall box, often behind metal, and that weakens signal. A router two rooms away that works fine for your phone may still give an unreliable connection at the board. If your house is large or has thick walls, plan for a mesh system or an access point nearer the switch. Signal problems show up as a device that keeps going offline in the app, and it is far easier to solve before installation than after.
Installation and safety. This is mains wiring and should be fitted by a qualified electrician, with the circuit isolated at the breaker before work starts. Check that your existing wall box is deep enough, since smart switches are thicker than mechanical ones and a shallow box will not close properly. Confirm the panel size matches your board cut out, and take a photograph of the existing wiring before disconnecting anything so there is a reference if terminals are unclear.
Black or white, and matching your interior. Both finishes use tempered glass, which wipes clean easily and resists the marks that plastic rockers pick up over time. White suits lighter, traditional interiors and disappears against pale walls. Black suits modern and darker schemes and hides fingerprints slightly better in practice. If you are fitting several rooms, order together so the batch finish matches exactly.
Load shedding behaviour. After a power cut the switch restores and reconnects on its own. Schedules resume automatically. Some users prefer lights to return to their previous state after an outage while others prefer everything off, and this behaviour can generally be configured in the app, which is worth setting deliberately rather than discovering by accident.
Can it control fans? Standard gangs are designed for lighting loads. Fans need proper speed regulation, so ask us about dedicated fan regulator options rather than assuming.
What if my router is far from the switch board? Signal strength at the wall box is what matters, not signal at your sofa. A mesh system or extender may be needed in larger houses.
Does it work without internet? Yes, as a normal touch switch, and stored schedules keep running. Only remote control from outside your network requires internet.
Can I use voice control? Yes, through the app’s supported voice assistants once the gangs are named sensibly.
Buying from ZZ Marts. Available in black and white from our Karachi (Saddar) and Lahore stores with nationwide delivery, supplied by Zam Zam Traders, trading in electrical and security hardware since 2005. If you are wiring several rooms we can quote a complete package across gang sizes so finishes match throughout the house.
